<Seesaw crawling>

Seesaw crawling is a meta-scenery and question that metaphorizes the image ecosystem and how images are created, collected, and stuffed. First of all, several landscapes unfold simultaneously. Based on surreal backgrounds such as deserts and water, contemporary images and issues are randomly collected, cameras and CCTVs that were believed to cover them are discarded with only shells left, forming a stratum, and ourselves are reflected in the burning image. In addition, the accumulated image data tries to find a balance on the seesaw by weighing its meaning and value, such as human activities, art objects, and systems. This visualization leads us to make better judgments and carefully explore future directions, while boosting the online image ecosystem that was underwater.

<시소 기어가기>는 어떤 방식으로 이미지가 생성되고, 수집되고, 박제되는지, 이미지 생태계를 은유하는 메타적 풍경이자 질문이다. 우선 여러 풍경이 동시다발적으로 펼쳐진다. 사막이나 물 같은 초현실적 배경을 바탕으로 동시대 이미지와 이슈가 무작위로 무한정 수집되는 모습, 이를 포락한다고 믿어졌던 카메라나 CCTV가 껍데기만 남은 채로 버려져 쌓여 하나의 지층을 이루는 모습, 불타는 이미지 속에 우리 자신이 반영되는 모습 등이 그것이다. 또한 쌓여있는 이미지 데이터는 시소 위에서 인간들의 활동, 미술의 오브제, 시스템등 그 의미와 가치를 두고 무게를 저울질하며 균형을 찾으려 한다. 이러한 시각화는 수면 아래 있었던 온라인 이미지 생태계를 끌어올리면서, 우리가 좀 더 나은 판단을 할 수 있도록, 그리고 조심스럽게 앞으로의 방향을 모색할 수 있도록 이끈다.
